• Foundation of  2E mechatronic GmbH & Co. KG (Member of the Narr-Group Kirchheim/Teck)

2003

• Started the IMDAKT - Project (Laser structured MIDs)
• Certified for the first time in compliance with DIN ISO/TS 16949

2004

• Start of the first worldwide licensed MID-components serial production for the automotive industry (Seat adjuster for Mercedes Benz and Maybach)

2005

• Started serial production of ESP^®- Sensor Housing and housing for side air-bag sensors

2006

• Enlargement of the manufacturing capacity and the storage area
• Eco Profit Award from Esslingen county.

2009

• Started serial production of capacitive 360° inclination sensor
• Moved to new company premises in Kirchheim/Teck
• Serial production of MID diodes in LDS-technology for the medical technology.
• 2E receives the Innovation Award from Esslingen county (Capacitive 360° inclination sensor)

2010

• Certified for the first time in accordance with the Environmental norm DIN ISO 14001.
• 2E becomes the preferred supplier of Robert Bosch GmbH
• 2E receives the Innovation Award from the state of Baden Württemberg (Capacitive 360° inclination sensor)

2011

• Innovation Award from the Research Association of Spatial Electronic Components 3D MID e.V. (MID Fluid Flow Sensors)
• Start manufacture of MID prototype
